Prior to pursuing a career in food, Oller was a television news reporter, holding positions as a News Anchor at both Telemundo and Univision. After 20 years as a reporter, Oller decided it was time for a change. With no previous professional cooking experience, Oller enrolled in ICE’s Culinary Arts and Culinary Management programs. Since graduating, Oller has combined her past professional experience and culinary training to appear on numerous food television and radio programs, including “Throwdown with Bobby Flay” on The Food Network, The Today Show, CNN en Español, Macy’s Herald Square, The Martha Stewart Radio Show and Eat Out Time Out. She has also been featured on numerous digital outlets, including,, and, as well as in magazines like Caras Puerto Rico, Siempre Mujer and Vanidades. Further, Oller has her own culinary touring company, Riquisimo! Tours, and is also the host of “AARP Viva,” a series of cooking webisodes in Spanish focused on creating a healthy and balanced Latino menu. For the past several years, she has been a Spokesperson and Chef for “Latino Initiatives” on behalf of The American Diabetes Association and has collaborated with GOYA to promote MiPlato or MyPlate, a national campaign initiated by First Lady Michelle Obama.
